Key responsibilities:
- The Business Intelligence Developer will play a crucial role in implementing, improving, and maintaining Looker system. This includes partnering and consulting with business teams to provide guidance and assistance in creating and streamlining Looker reports.
- Collect and maintain the set of business reporting requirements.
- Implement BI reports based on the above requirements.
- Analyse existing reports and optimize them for standardization across the company.
- Set up and maintain BI tools, infrastructure, and integration with company data sources.
- Collaborating with team members for the purpose of collecting data and executing the company’s mission.
Requirements:
Technical and Professional Expertise skills:
- Bachelor`s degree and minimum 4 years’ experience as a BI Developer.
- Business intuition and ability to understand complex business systems.
- Expertise in visualization technologies, Looker would be preferred and/or another BI tool (Power BI, Qlik Sense, Tableau).
- Expertise in SQL and/or Python would be considered a plus.
- Understanding data modelling, data schemas, query optimization, query profiling, and query performance monitoring tools and techniques.
- Ability to handle databases and understand technology-driven business intelligence tools.
- Ability to collect and compile relevant data in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Extremely organized with great attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Collaborative mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Stacks:
- Looker (preferred) and/or another BI tool (Power BI, Qlik Sense, Tableau).
- SQL and/or Python experience.
- Jira.
- Version Control tools (GIT, Bitbucket).
