About the project:

You will be involved in the design and implementation of a Kubernetes Hybrid Cloud and Rust based microservices stack.

Advance Technical and Professional Expertise skills:

• Demonstrated Rust experience in a commercial project (real apps)
• Backend Rust developer experience (warp/axum, tokio/tonic/reqwest, serde)
• Fully understand the Rust ecosystem (cargo clippy, rust-analyzer, cargo deny check)
• Understand data conversation from REST API1 to REST API2 (parsing, converting, aggregating data, serde)
• Understand to write unit and integration tests.
• Startup knowledge (write code and run it production with a CI/CD pipeline)
• Experienced with Remote Work (pair programming, slack, JIRA)
• DevOps mindset, IaC knowledge
• Working with legacy APIs
• Fluent English (C2)

Stack:

• Preferable to have experience with: grpc, protobuf
• Preferable to have experience with: kubernetes, couchdb, postgres
• Linux or MacOs OS only (recent hardware), no Windows

Additional information:

• Willing to work 5 days/week and 8 hours per day with core working hours of 10:00 – 16:00 UK time.
• Stable Internet connection for Video Calls and pair programming
• Contract will be minimum of 6 months with possibility of extension.
• Willing to attend daily and weekly meetings with the team.
• Possibility to start immediately and work only remote.
